Known to ease eczema and other inflammatory skin conditions, and traditionally used to alleviate seasonal allergies and relieve lung congestion. Caution: Fresh leaves can sting the skin due to their fine, hair-like structures, so wear gloves when harvesting or handling. Use with caution in individuals on diuretic medications, as it may increase urine output. In large doses, it can occasionally irritate sensitive stomachs.
