Actions: Bitter tonic, Cholagogue, Antimicrobial, Hepatoprotective, Anti-inflammatory, Mild laxative. Known to stimulate digestion and bile flow, supporting liver detoxification and bile production. Used both topically and internally for inflammatory and infectious skin conditions. Also known to support the immune system.*
